Before Congress passed the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act, talk about the Department’s TIGER team, made its way onto blogs. TIGER, officially titled Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery team, was recognized by the Federal Times as one of the critical teams that will manage $46 billion of the recovery spending.
Eager to create jobs and get the American people back to work, the TIGER team is getting ready to distribute funds and developing common reporting standards to track the highway, road, bridge, transit, rail, aviation and other intermodal investments.
