This is more great news about Gillig. The ARRA has really kept the economy from falling into a depression and now it looks like things might be turining the corner. California has more tax funds coming in than expected; another good sign. Things are also looking up with the C-TRAN elimination in Clayton County Georgia. It looks like the long term solution there will be contracting with MARTA for fixed route service. Things are beginning to stabalize. As of now there are 14 disabled persons in Clayton County who need paratransit service but a resumpsion of paratransit service has not got to those 14 as of this time. MARTA is also helping with putting together a paratransit system in the county to replace what C-TRAN operated. The City of Bellingham/Whatcom County Washington will have a special election on April 27 to increase the county sales tax 0.02cents for transit. Also, recent polls that came out last week show that people are willing to increase the sales tax some for transit and many now see it as an important service we need. Best wishes, Michael E. Bailey.

It is greatly refreshing to read an article about how good companies are still pushing forward in this economy. You hear so few positives about the stimulus package because it seems to be more geared toward preventing the collapse of businesses and not so much so increase revenue and sales from previous years. The information about this bus company is just what Americans need to hear. Thanks
