I certainly don't see why trails for non-motorized transportation cannot be a part of our transit system, especially as long as we will continue to have a road system for cars.

I vote for more bike and hiking trails. My son was hit by a car while riding his bike. We live in a big city, and the drivers just don't look for people on bikes. It would be a whole lot safer for those who do bike, if there were bike trails.

Luckily he wasn't hurt, just tore up his $750 bike. I guess that will be the price we have to pay, just to ride bike for pleasure.

Nothing sucks more than not being able to bike to work or school... having these pathways will help on a broader scale as well: weight loss, or in other words, more fit people~!
