Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Today, the call to end distracted driving goes global:

Comments

A global call to end distracted driving? How about, "Exercise a modicum of personal responsibility by putting down the phone while you drive." This program is a farce, but sinister because it represents a coordinated effort by governments around the world to cooperatively regulate use of communication devices, and that is obviously the real intent here. Tell Sec. LaHood to drop to BS pretext andto leave Americans the Hell alone.

This international initiative will save millions of lives around the world. People need to get the word that driving and texting or talking on the cell phone is a dangerous and deadly practice that must end. The costs from it are too high in deaths, injuries, insurance, and hospital bills. And we all have to help pay the financial costs of distracted driving with increased insurance premiums and higher costs for emergency room andin-patient hospital services. Best wishes, Michael E. Bailey.

Daniel Morgan, you are a voice of sanity crying in the wilderness, and I HEAR YOU!!! We know the absurd when we see it and you called it right.
