At this time of year, it's important to stop and say thanks. And today, I'd like to thank all of you--my Fast Lane readers and everyone who follows me on Facebook and Twitter.
I started "On the Go" earlier this year as a way to show my appreciation to all of you who take a few minutes each day to learn about what we're doing, to ask a question, or to let me know how you think I'm doing. There's no doubt that the passion you share for the roadways, runways, and railways in your communities inspires my work at DOT.
So with that, I bring you this month's supersized episode of "On the Go," where I answer your questions on highway and transit funding, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Amtrak, transportation programs for rural communities, and high-speed rail.
Do you have a question you'd like me to answer? You can:
- Post on my Facebook page,
- Tweet me using the #q4ray hashtag, or
- Leave a comment here on the blog.
Thanks for tuning in to this month's episode. I'll be back in January for a whole new year of "On the Go." Until then, keep writing in--and I'll keep listening.
