The White House Champions of Change program highlights the stories and examples of citizens across the country who are “Building an America to Last” with projects and initiatives that move their communities forward. Each week, The White House invites Champions to share their ideas and to empower and inspire others.
Soon, the White House will select Champions for a May 8, 2013, event honoring people who are making a difference in transportation, and we want to hear from you about who should be on the list.

In the past, we've been fortunate to have many terrific Champions of Change in Transportation. For this round of Champions of Change, DOT is looking for nominees who are creating "Transportation Technology Solutions for the 21st Century."
And we need your help to identify them.
If you know of an individual or organization providing leadership in transportation technology solutions that either enhance performance, reduce congestion, improve safety, or facilitate communication, please let us know by March 28.
We're looking for the driving forces behind technology that helps companies track how their freight moves from Point A to Point B, that helps automakers boost fuel economy, that helps airplanes navigate our skies.
Across the nation, new technologies are helping move America safely, sustainably, and efficiently. And behind those technologies are pioneering individuals and organizations--our 2013 Champions of Change.
But believe it or not, the May date for our White House event is just around the corner. So if you want to nominate someone, navigate over to our Champions page and submit your nomination by March 28.
